ORG DESCRIPTION
Located in Hillsboro, OR, Foglight is a growing space for plants, animals, and people alike. Our team of farmers, artists, and entrepreneurs connected around the shared dream of offering opportunities for growth, healing, and creative expression on the site. Our eggs, produce, and baked goods go out to the world through PSU Farmers Market, our onsite farmstand, and a pickup outpost in Concordia. And we host a range of events that incorporate our love of nature, creativity, and thoughtful conversation. For this upcoming fifth season, we’ll be focused on dialing in operations now that we’re mostly stabilized re: construction/infrastructure and have organic certification. The farm is currently home to 300 chickens, four goats, three sheep, five geese, three cats, and three dogs Our site has a mix of cultivated space with orchard and berry fields, pasture, and forest—with great views of Mt. Hood and Jefferson on a clear day. You can find us at foglightfarms.com and @foglightfarms on Instagram. You can also visit Grains of Salt to learn about our other areas of work.
